Interpreting Dreams – Your Key To Happiness

It is on times of stress and tension that dreams occur. It is on these times that one’s mind is barraged with lots of things – especially negative ones. Repressed thoughts and inhibitions on certain areas of one’s life, also contribute to dreams occurring. Highly emotional issues, those that mostly occupy your mind and those that you have strong conscious denial towards - will eventually come out in dreams.

Traumatic experiences also cause dreams or nightmares. One usually experiences in their dreams a similar event or exactly like the actual traumatic experience. This becomes disturbing to those who dreams of such. Only time & acceptance can help you move on and lessen the occurrence of such dreams.

Dreams can also be prophetic. At times, this may give you hints of what will happen in the future – it may be for small matters or for big events in your life. Yet one should note that most dreams are symbolic – thus should not always be taken literally. In interpreting dreams, one should consider the features of the dream – the scenery, the theme, the people, colors, the sounds, weather and how one feels.

Dreams occur to prevent the brain from too much stress. It is a means for the brain to relax and release all the things that bother the mind. Deep emotional issues will get to be addressed as well. In essence – the equilibrium of one’s emotional state and of its mental state are the reasons for dreams to come about. In the end, it is all about one’s happiness.

Dreams at times may be considered to be very way off from what is happening in the real world we are living in. Yet if we are able to unravel the mysteries of the dreams we have, perhaps we will be able to understand ourselves better – and maybe then, happiness will just be a dream away.
