Dreams – And What They Mean
Common Dreams are experienced by people of different cultures and ages. This is understandable since come to think of it, we are of one race – the race of humanity. Being so, would allow all of us to share a common human experience – the experience of Common Dreams. Dreams of Being Chased This type of dream is considered to be somewhat negative, as at times, this goes together with being attacked. In this dream, knowing your pursuer will be important as this may be the key to interpreting this. Think about your current relationship with the pursuer and try to check whether you have feeling of hate or indifference towards him. Some times these are people you are indebted to, those you are angry at or those you are jealous with. The uneasiness and fears of changing careers or moving into a new geographical location or neighborhood may also be the cause of these dreams. There are also dreams of being chased with attack. These are interpreted to be signs of stress in the workplace or even at home. Being chased and attacked will signify that you are most likely to have unpleasant encounters with some individuals. Losing to a fight or submitting to the attack may be interpreted to mean you will lose your honor. Winning on the other hand, will mean that despite the obstacles – you are most likely to come out standing and succeed. Those who chase you may not only be humans, but animals as well. This may be due to a fact that you really fear such animals – perhaps due to a past experience or for a mere fright of them. This dream is usually experienced by children, though adults are definitely not exempted. You must note however that this may not have to be interpreted strictly to that of the animal kingdom. You must also try to reflect what your specific experiences were to such an animal – and whether there are people close to you that have such animals. Perhaps, the people behind these animals are your real concern – and the animals serve only as symbols to individuals that affect you emotionally. Falling Out Teeth Dreams Dreams of teeth falling out are a sign of one’s insecurities resurfacing out. It signifies self-consciousness and having doubts about one’s attractiveness. This may occur during a transition phase from one stage to another – usually that of one’s age. High concern of one’s self-image may be apparent during this time. Feelings of uncertainty plague you and you are constantly looking for ways to increase your self-esteem. Concerns on sexual attractiveness may also be an issue you may be facing – and thus, the recurring dream of losing teeth. Naked Dreams Dreams of being nude suggests that you have feelings of insecurity. You may be currently feeling down and may not feel comfortable of yourself in a particular situation. Such may be a case at work where you fear disapproval from your colleagues, and this is further confirmed if you dreamt of being naked at your workplace. Either being naked or being only with your underwear during the dream is a sign of guilt and inferiority complex. One should also learn however to look at the other people in your dream – if they seem to be unmindful of you being naked, it may be a sign for you to drop your feelings of guilt and inferiority. Most likely these have no bases and the real you will be accepted by these people. If you dream of being ashamed in being naked, this may signify a fear of relationships. You may be afraid of going into and committing yourself to a serious relationship. You may also be in a situation wherein you are not being true to yourself and may not be showing your true feelings to a partner or any other special person. Having dreams however of being sickened by a certain individuals nudity may mean you have some hatred towards that person and is unable to accept that person for who he really is. At times, you may also dream of being disgusted of your nudity, and this may mean as well your disapproval towards your own self. If your dreams though show signs of being okay with nudity, this may indicate your acceptance towards the other person, and this may include yourself. Sexual Dreams Dreams about sex happens to most men than women. Understandably so since men spend more time of their waking hours thinking about sex than women do. Repressed and prohibited sexual thoughts toward a certain person will usually result to one dreaming about it. Being so engrossed about it will also result to one acting it out in their dreams what one can only think of in reality. This type of dream can be considered to be a release of sexual feelings and hidden erotic desires. These sexual dreams also come about by one’s plain desire of acquaintance with the person from the opposite sex. The wanting to have a relationship with the other person may also result to having such dreams. At other times though, dreams of sex fall under the category of the forbidden. There are those that are totally taboo in the real world, and yet one comes to be a participant in the dream. Such dreams may make one feel uncomfortable with the thought of it happening. Sexual taboos in dreams may result to one feeling guilty and betrayed. The excitement in doing the forbidden things though – and if you have a sex life that is not satisfying, may result to having dreams of sex. Understanding your sexual dreams though will give you a better understanding of your true self. Your deeper feelings will show and you will begin to realize what you really feel about sex & relationships. By paying attention to your dream, you will learn more about your needs and the human desires you have – which may in fact really need some addressing. Dreaming of Money When one dreams about money, it is because he is controlled by it. When he lacks it and desires it – money will surely be in his dreams, most especially if one is in dire need of it due to a large debt. Gaining money in your dreams may be a sign of blessings to come. It can be also interpreted to mean a gain in emotional power. If in your dreams you see yourself giving money to others, it may indicate a need to help others – not necessarily financial in nature. Dreams of losing money may be a sign of your lack of control in terms of other areas in your life – money may be definitely one of it, but it may be understood that you are also unable to restrain yourself from overly utilizing or offering to others your own emotional resources, etc. Traditional dream interpretation take it that losing money in your dream would mean you would gain it in the real world – and gaining money in your dream would mean the opposite. Yet dreams about money, may be more than just the financial aspect of your life – it can be about power and control. |
